● A NEW FUTURE FOR GRASSROOTS SPORT
Sport belongs
to everyone.
A community built around amateur team sport, helping more people play, connect, belong and celebrate the moments that matter.
UK first. Community minded. Made for the people who play.
✳
PLAY IS THE POINT.
Everyone has a place in the game.
Everyone has a place in the game.
MADE FOR REAL-WORLD SPORT01 / THE BEGINNING
01 / WHY WE EXIST
More playing.
More belonging.
More celebrating.
The best part of sport happens together. The team spirit, the friendships, the first match, the unexpected win and the joy of showing up.
Open Sport is being created to help grassroots clubs thrive and make participation easier, more welcoming and more rewarding.
02 / OUR BIG, AUDACIOUS GOAL
1,000,000+
people playing amateur
sport every week.
Our long-term ambition.
One person. One team.
One match at a time. ↗
03 / WHAT WE'RE BUILDING
Built around
the joy of playing.
A free-to-use player platform and a home for the communities that make sport happen.
Every win counts.
Celebrate personal milestones, Player of the Match and the people who lift others up.
Share the feeling.
Tell your team's story through moments, results and local club identity.
04 / WHERE WE ARE
Starting small.
Thinking big.
We're beginning with grassroots hockey in the UK, creating a platform where every team sport and every type of player can eventually feel at home.
NOW
Shape the foundations
Brand, community, architecture and our first club conversations.
NEXT
Launch a hockey pilot
Bring teams together for a genuinely useful match-day experience.
THEN
Grow the community
More clubs, more sports, more moments worth sharing.
05 / COME PLAY A PART
Every movement
starts somewhere.
We're building Open Sport with grassroots clubs, players, volunteers and people who believe sport should bring us together.
